Interestingly, the Center also houses an extraordinary planetarium. Many of the park’s ranger-guided tours start out at the Nature Center, so it’s good to familiarize yourself with the station.

Classic Trail Exploration

Rock Creek Park Tennis Center
Rock Creek Park Tennis Center is a high-tech tennis facility with 25 outdoor courts (15 hard courts and 10 clay courts) and five indoor courts (available during winter months). The Center also offers Adult and Junior tennis lessons and clinics. Rock Creek Park Tennis Center surrounds William H.G. Fitzgerald Tennis Stadium, which is home to the Citi Open, and is just over two miles from Tenley View Apartments!
